Lifestyle newborn photography is a unique experience that really brings your family's story to life. It is relaxed and free flowing with a focus on simplicity, connection and storytelling. During the lifestyle portion of your session, I have the opportunity to capture images of you and your newborn interacting naturally in your own home. If you have other children, this is their chance to shine!

The posed portion is your time to relax and let me take the wheel. I'll bring loads of props including the tiniest newborn outfits, accessories, and props. You can sit back and relax knowing that your baby is in good hands with me. I am safety certified, with over a decade of knowledge and experience in photographing newborns.

I began photographing newborns in 2009, the year my oldest son was born. I was obsessed - not only with my precious baby boy, but with finding creative ways to capture every stage of his life. Since then, I've gained years of knowledge, experience, and trained with one of the top newborn photographers in the world. I am safety certified, and I just can't wait to bring those priceless photos that you're dreaming of into your home!
Timing your session
Timing your session
Book your session for about 1-2 weeks after your due date. Babies are sleepiest and easiest to maneuver when they are just a few days old.
Appointments are scheduled for weekday mornings to allow plenty of scheduling flexibility.

Photo Shoot Day!
Plan for about 2-3 hours. We may finish faster, or we may take a bit longer. I'm not counting the minutes - there's absolutely no rush.
If you have an older child, we'll do family photos first so they can get off to school, nap, etc.

If you're looking for a short and sweet way to capture beautiful newborn photos, without all the fuss, a wrapped baby session is a perfect choice. These sessions take place exclusively in my home and provide a quick, easy way to get stunning images of your little one. Your baby will remain comfortably wrapped the entire time and photographed in a variety of cozy setups, including baskets, buckets, and bowls. This session is designed for baby only, and is limited to 1 hour.
