Posed Newborn Photography
Your in-home session now includes posed photos!
Do you dream of those squishy newborn photos where your baby is curled up in a little ball fast asleep? Or snoozing sweetly inside of a bucket or basket? My in-home newborn sessions include all of this and more. And I promise I'll make it easy for you... just give me examples of your favorite newborn photos for inspiration and I'll handle the rest. I'll bring loads of props including the tiniest NB outfits, wraps, hats, blankets and headbands in every color. I even have a few dresses for mom in my client closet if you wish to borrow anything for yourself.
Wrapped
We'll typically start the session with your baby wrapped nice and cozy in a swaddle until he falls asleep. We will move him from basket to bucket, to bowl, using your choice of colors and props that we've pre-selected.
Unwrapped
Once she's fast asleep, we'll move her to the bed or couch for some unwrapped poses as well. With a 2-3 hour session, there's plenty of time built in for feeding and snuggles to make sure mom and baby are both cozy and comfortable.
Remember, your session comes with both Lifestyle and Posed photos
We can always lean more heavily one way or the other, depending on your preference.
Schedule Your Session In Advance
Babies are sleepiest and easiest to maneuver into all the cutest poses when they are just a few days old. If possible, try to schedule your session for sometime in the first 6-15 days. Booking in advance will help you secure your spot on my calendar, as well as allow more time to prepare.
Once you're booked, we'll adjust the date pending baby's arrival.
***Not to worry if you missed the 6-15 day window. Newborn photos can be taken anytime in the first few months. The older your baby is, the more awake and interactive images we're likely to get. ***
Questions?
Delivery dates are unpredictable. Don't worry, when we book your session the date is not set in stone. I am always available to reschedule pending baby's arrival. I rely on you to communicate with me as much as possible if your due date changes or as soon as possible if your baby comes early.
Newborn sessions can take place anytime in the first several months. With brand new babies we're able to do a wider variety of poses, but with older and more alert babies, we will focus more on their personality and interaction. You're never too old for a photo shoot!
These photos are designed to capture you and your family in real life, as you are now, in this moment. I will guide you with a few simple things you can do to prepare your home, but the session is all about the connection between you and your baby. Leave it to me to bring out the best in your home.

If you're looking for a short and sweet way to capture beautiful newborn photos, without all the fuss, a wrapped baby session is a perfect choice. These sessions take place exclusively in my home and provide a quick, easy way to get stunning images of your little one. Your baby will remain comfortably wrapped the entire time and photographed in a variety of cozy setups, including baskets, buckets, and bowls. This session is designed for baby only, and is limited to 1 hour.
